We wish both Mary and her daughter Emily (following in her mothers’ footsteps) all the best for the future! Snuggy Hoods will continue their support of them both!
What Mary says about Snuggy Hoods:
“Snuggy Hoods have given back all those hours spent scrubbing mud off with their fantastic turnout hoods – giving me more time to ride, train and compete. Snuggy Hoods are both fun and practical, the fleece sheep print always makes me smile and I know all my horses especially King Solomon are laughing when it comes to those chilly winter months with their cosy fleece Snuggy Hoods!”

Snuggy Hoods sponsor Swedish Show Jumper – Jane Richard-Phillips
Jane is a Swedish International Show Jumper who has recently teamed together with Snuggy Hoods. Head groom Lauren Roberts has used Snuggy Hoods for many years with her show horses and finds that they are an essential item for all of the show jumpers. Traveling around often following the sun, the most popular items found within Jane’s horses wardrobe are the Shiny Show Lycra Hoods (used to shine the coat, tame the mane and protect plaits whilst in the stable) along with the Weatherproof turn out hoods which have the same qualities but with additional warmth for the cooler days.
Snuggy Hoods sponsor Dressage Rider – Laura Fisher
Snuggy Hoods have teamed together with Laura Fisher in her transition from Eventing up to 2* to Dressage with her top horse Ozzie after discovering that he has Navicular. Laura has always suffered with Ozzie being an itchy horse and has found he is allergic to mites and bugs you find in every day environments. Ozzie is covered from nose to tail in the Snuggy Hoods Turn Out Hood & Spik and Span rug, this is proving to be a good way to keep his condition under control.

Snuggy Hoods sponsor Matthew Lawrence
Snuggy Hoods sponsor Team Bates
Jo was born into a competitive equestrian family and, as she grew up, she never wanted to do anything else but ride.
From a successful start in the show ring on ponies produced by her mother, she took up dressage when she was 12, and went on to become one of the top young riders in GB in 1977 and 1978 and Junior Dressage Champion in 1978.
On leaving school, Jo trained with some of the best known horsemen and women in the business, including Ernst Bachinger (at the Spanish Riding School of Vienna), Jennie Loriston Clarke and Iris Kellet, gaining a grounding that has stood her in very good stead.
She then joined Broadstone Stud producing dressage and show horses, finally taking over as Joint Manager.
At Broadstone Jo had some notable successes, including championships at HOYS and RIHS as well as competing at top level in dressage.
When the stud was disbanded in 2003, Jo set up her own training and competition yard, building up a loyal clientele as well as continuing to achieve championship success in the show ring.
