Snuggy Hoods sponsor Mary King

We are proud to have been “dressing” Mary’s horses for 8 years – since we encouraged her to try a Turn Out Hood some years ago at Olympia Horse Show.

Mary King with King Soloman III wearing his Turn Out HoodShe is such a wonderful ambassador to the Equestrian World having represented GB at 5 Olympic Games, 1992-2008 – winning Silver and a Bronze medal with her team. She has won two gold and one silver medal in the World Equestrian Games team eventing and four team gold medals at the European Eventing Championships along with one bronze and one silver medal in the individual event. Nationally, she was the British Open Champion in 1990, 1991 & 1996 and won the CCI four star Badminton Horse Trials in 1992 & 2000, and the CCI four star Burghley Horse Trials in 1996. And this year she won a fantastic 1st and 2nd at the Rolex Kentucky 3 day event!
We wish both Mary and her daughter Emily (following in her mothers’ footsteps) all the best for the future! Snuggy Hoods will continue their support of them both!

What Mary says about Snuggy Hoods:
“Snuggy Hoods have given back all those hours spent scrubbing mud off with their fantastic turnout hoods – giving me more time to ride, train and compete. Snuggy Hoods are both fun and practical, the fleece sheep print always makes me smile and I know all my horses especially King Solomon are laughing when it comes to those chilly winter months with their cosy fleece Snuggy Hoods!”

Snuggy Hoods sponsor Dressage Rider – Laura Fisher

Snuggy Hoods have teamed together with Laura Fisher in her transition from Eventing up to 2* to Dressage with her top horse Ozzie after discovering that he has Navicular.  Laura has always suffered with Ozzie being an itchy horse and has found he is allergic to mites and bugs you find in every day environments.  Ozzie is covered from nose to tail in the Snuggy Hoods Turn Out Hood & Spik and Span rug, this is proving to be a good way to keep his condition under control.
