United Kingdom

Orders are dispatched to UK addresses using a standard Royal Mail Tracked 48 service.

Standard UK delivery is charged at £3.50 for smaller parcels and £5.95 for larger parcels.

Priority Postage (Next Day, Tracked 24)

All customers choosing the “Priority Postage” option on orders placed before 1pm (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays and periods when the office is closed, such as between Christmas and New Year) will have their parcel dispatched the same day using DPD Next Day or Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day. Delivery will then be made on the next working day (Monday to Friday). Some services operate on Saturdays, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that during busy periods, including sale events, you will still need to allow 7–10 days for dispatch even if Priority Postage is selected. All Priority orders will be prioritised and dispatched in date and time order to ensure fairness.

All efforts will be made to deliver any Priority parcel the next working day; however, Snuggy Hoods cannot be held responsible for delays caused by adverse weather, traffic, or other unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, deliveries will be made as soon as possible.

DPD Delivery – Highlands, Islands and Remote Areas

DPD Next Day delivery is only available to mainland UK (England, Scotland and Wales excluding Highlands and Islands).

We do not offer DPD delivery to the following regions due to carrier restrictions and significantly higher surcharges:

  • Scottish Highlands
  • Scottish Islands
  • Channel Isles
  • Isle of Man
  • Isles of Scilly

Customers in these locations should select an alternative shipping service, such as Royal Mail Tracked, at checkout. Orders placed using Priority Postage to these regions will be sent via an alternative service.

Dispatch Times

Snuggy Hoods aims to dispatch:

  • Stock items within 2–4 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays), subject to availability
  • Made-to-order items, including Alterations, out-of-stock items, Sheath and Udder Covers, and Made-to-Measure items, within 14 days

Sale Periods

Please allow 7–14 days for dispatch of all orders placed during clearance sales, special offers, or end-of-season sales.

This includes Priority Postage orders, as these are particularly busy periods.

General Information

No orders will be dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays, or Bank Holidays unless arranged in advance at additional cost.

Order totals, including shipping, will be calculated and displayed at checkout. If you are unsure or would like a quote prior to ordering, please contact us.

You must inform us as soon as possible if your parcel has been delayed or damaged in transit.

If there is a preferred place for your parcel to be left, please include this in the comments box at checkout.

Republic of Ireland 

Parcels will be sent by Royal Mail, DPD or UPS depending on parcel size and weight.

Your country's local VAT rate will be included in your order. You should not be charged any VAT or duties upon delivery.

Europe

Parcels will be sent by Royal Mail, DPD or UPS depending on parcel size and weight.

Your country's local VAT rate will be included in your order. You should not be charged any VAT or duties upon delivery.

Important notice for EU customers

Following recent changes to low-value EU parcel customs rules from 1 July
2026, some customers may receive an automated request from the courier for
duties, tax, or customs payment.

If you receive any payment request from DPD, UPS, or a customs agent
relating to your Snuggy Hoods order, please do not pay it.

Instead, please forward the full message, email, text, or letter to us
straight away, including your order number and tracking details where possible.
We will contact the courier directly and work to resolve the issue so your
parcel can continue through delivery as quickly as possible.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience while
couriers adjust to the new EU processing requirements.

USA (NEW TAX RULES - PLEASE READ)

Parcels will be sent with DPD or UPS. No PO boxes!

Important Information for USA CUSTOMERS
Following the recent tax law changes that our USA customers have encountered, we have managed to change our system settings, enabling us to collect duties on your behalf and send the parcel DDP (delivery duties paid). This means that you will not be required to pay anything extra upon delivery.

Japan

Parcels will be sent with DPD or UPS. No PO boxes!

Total delivery charge will be calculated and shown in your basket and at checkout.

Your country's local VAT rate will be included in your order. You should not be charged any VAT or duties upon delivery.

Rest of the World

Parcels will be sent with DPD or UPS.

UK VAT will be removed from your order. Your local VAT rate and duties will be collected by the courier upon or upfront delivery.
