The Lightweight Rug Liner (formerly Petticoat Rug) is a made of a soft, silky fabric which helps prevent rubs or chaffing on withers, chest, shoulders, body & hips. Suitable for use under any rug, all year round, the Lightweight Rug Liner also creates coat shine.

It is easy to fit and easy to wash, so ideal for use under thick Winter rugs to keep grease out of the coat and keep heavy rug linings clean. Just wash the Lightweight Rug Liner regularly for shiny, clean coat! Lightweight, easy to fit and to wash (in the washing machine) - an essential addition to the Snuggy wardrobe!

The Lightweight Rug Liner has a loop at the chest for rug buckles and loops for cross surcingles and leg straps for added security. It is made from the same clever fabric as our silky Shoulder Guard which is used to prevent rubs on chest, shoulders and withers only.

Sizes - 4'6 - 7'0

Colours - Navy or Black (colour will depend on stock, we cannot guarantee which).

*PLEASE NOTE* The Lightweight Rug Liner sizing is not generous as the fabric is not stretchy so if your horse/pony is between sizes choose the bigger option.

TOP TIP For a fantastic shiny, clipped Winter coat - use a Lightweight Rug Liner under a Winter Under Rug (formerly Spik & Span) - in the field or stable! Layer your turn out/stable rugs on top as required. The Lightweight Rug Liner will add shine and keep grease from building up on the coat (remember to wash the liner regularly) and the Winter Under Rug will add a layer of warmth and keep the belly warm, clean and dry. This combination will help keep a dull, clipped Winter coat shiny, clean and better still - make the hair grow back less quickly = clip less often!

United Kingdom Orders

Orders are dispatched using a 48 hour tracked Royal Mail service. Standard delivery to the UK is charged at £2.95 for smaller parcels and large parcels are charged at £4.95 An Express Shipping option is available for orders of ‘in stock’ items only. Express Shipping is a 24 hours tracked Royal Mail service. The Express Shipping option is available at the checkout. Express delivery to the UK is charged at £6.95 for smaller parcels and £8.95 for larger parcels. Order total will be calculated and shown in your basket and at checkout. If you are unsure or would like a quote prior to ordering please contact us.

Snuggy Hoods aim to dispatch stock items within 3 business days (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays) after the order was placed, subject to product availability. We will aim to dispatch Made to order items such as Alterations, out of stock items, Sheath and Udder Covers and Made to measure items within 10 days.

Please allow 14 days for delivery of orders placed during clearance sales, special offers or end of season sales as these are very busy periods.

No orders will be dispatched on Saturday or Sunday or Bank Holidays – unless by prior arrangement at extra cost to the customer. You must inform us as soon as possible if your parcel has been delayed or damaged in transit.

Deliveries are normally sent using either Royal Mail or a courier service. A signature will be required on delivery for all couriered packages. If you are not at home when the courier calls, a card will be left with details about how to reschedule your delivery.

European Orders

Standard delivery to the EU is charged at £6.95 for smaller packages. Any medium packages will be charged at a rate of £12.95. Standard delivery to the US/Canada is charged at £7.95 for smaller packages. Any medium packages will be charged at a rate of £15.95. Rest of the World Orders

Standard delivery to the rest of the World is charged at £9.95 for smaller packages. Any medium packages will be charged at a rate of £24.95. RETURNS INFORMATION

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. Unspoiled goods may be exchanged or refunded if returned within 14 days of ordering along with proof of purchase. To be accepted for refund/exchange goods must be in new condition with all original packaging. A pre-paid Royal Mail returns label is provided for all non-sale items/orders. This Postage label can be supplied to the customer by email or post if required, please call +441225 783399 or email sales@snuggyhoods.com to request. All discounted or sale items/orders are to be returned at the customer’s expense.

We do recommend that parcels are sent RECORDED post as no responsibility will be held for parcels lost in transit using our return post label.
