Meet the Team
Marilyn
Marilyn is the founder of Snuggy Hoods, having first recognised the need for quality “Equi-undies” at affordable prices here in the UK 40 years ago.
She began making Snuggy Hoods and Silky Bibs in the attic of her home in Box, Wiltshire, supplying local businesses including Wadswick Country Store and Pointings Saddlery at Bath Racecourse.
Now retired, Marilyn still plays an active role in developing new products — with her small stud of show ponies often stepping in as willing models.

Becky
Becky returned home from London in 2001 to join Mother Marilyn in expanding Snuggy Hoods.
Between them, Becky and Marilyn moved the business out of the Attic and onto the Midlands Industrial Estate in Holt where they have moved (bursting out of the seams) of 2 other units finally settling at unit 1.
Having 3 children, Max, Charlie and Eugenie, Becky spends time between the unit, school run and home.
Becky and her daughter Janey have several show ponies, including superstar Lolli and exciting young pony Marv, out on the show circuit where Becky is regularly picking up ideas and tips for improved/new products.

Tracey
Before joining Snuggy Hoods, Tracey worked in a variety of roles from home, including childcare.
She has now been with Snuggy Hoods for over 20 years, first starting as a seamstress working from home before moving on to work for the company full-time.
Tracey’s role includes running the warehouse, stock handling, cutting out made-to-measure items, sewing, repairs and alterations — so she plays a key part in keeping both production and day-to-day operations moving.
Outside of work, Tracey enjoys socialising, swimming, walking and riding her motorcycle, including the odd track day.

Penny
Penny has been part of Snuggy Hoods for over 25 years and continues to play an important role in the team while working from home.
She helps with alterations, repairs and sewing custom products, including special sizes and made-to-measure items for customers who need something a little more tailored.
Penny also spent a few years living in Canada, and outside of work she enjoys going to custom car shows.

Lisa
Lisa joined Snuggy Hoods in 2023 and works with us part-time, helping to keep the warehouse running smoothly while also carrying out repairs and alterations.
Originally from Wiltshire, Lisa is a horse owner herself and has been part of the equestrian world since childhood, so she understands just how important fit, comfort and practicality are for both horses and their owners.
Outside of work, Lisa is a busy mum to two boys — so she is no stranger to keeping things organised, practical and moving.

Lizzie
Lizzie is the newest member of the Snuggy Hoods team, having joined us in early 2026.
Working part-time, mainly from home, Lizzie supports the office team alongside Becky and Chris and is responsible for customer service. If you get in touch with a question, sizing query or special request, there is a very good chance Lizzie will be the person you email or speak to on the phone.
Lizzie has been a horse owner for most of her life and has always been part of the equestrian world. She is also a well-known showing judge, bringing plenty of hands-on knowledge and experience to the team.

Chris
Chris joined Snuggy Hoods in January 2025. Originally from Germany, Chris moved to England after working for the Bavarian Government and now helps run Snuggy Hoods behind the scenes and represents the company at equestrian industry trade shows.
His role covers day-to-day operations management, website and Amazon support, IT and tech support, introducing new systems and processes, and helping with customer service when needed.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys flying as a private pilot, motorbikes and all kinds of sports.

Bobbi & Peppa
Bobbi & Peppa are our much-loved office dogs and unofficial morale managers.
They take their roles very seriously — greeting visitors, supervising tea breaks and keeping a close eye on anything that sounds suspiciously like a snack packet.
Despite their important security duties, they are very friendly. Honest.
