Product Description

Please note: fleece has less stretch than our Turn Out and Lycra Hoods, so these hoods can fit more snugly. Check our size guide before ordering.

The Jams Fleece Hood provides warm, cosy coverage for the face, ears, neck and chest. Made from soft polar fleece, it helps slow winter coat growth and regrowth after clipping, while encouraging the coat to lie flat for a smooth, shiny finish.

Ideal for show preparation, it also helps protect plaits overnight or at events and encourages an unruly mane to lie flat.

Comfortable coverage and thoughtful details

  • Silky lining with no seams along the mane and shoulders to help prevent rubbing.
  • Adjustable noseband for a comfortable fit.
  • Ear covers included as standard, which can be carefully cut off if not required.
  • Fastens independently, so it can be worn with any rug.

Pull-On or Zip?

We recommend Pull-On for horses comfortable having a hood slipped over their nose. It is less bulky, with no zip to fiddle with or break.

For head-shy horses or those who find fitting stressful, choose the Zip version. Its zip runs from chin to chest to make fitting easier.
