The Jams Fleece Rug is a lightweight, sweat-wicking base layer for stable wear, travelling and show preparation. Made from soft, cosy polar fleece, it covers the chest, shoulders, body and full belly to help keep your horse or pony comfortable and clean. Ideal for show preparation, helping slow the growth of the winter coat and regrowth after clipping, while encouraging the coat to lie flat for a smooth, shiny finish.
Comfortable coverage, adjustable fit
- Full belly coverage, adjustable on both sides to suit different shapes and sizes.
- Elasticated at the withers, chest and rear for a close, comfortable fit.
- Extra-large tail flap for added coverage.
Wear it alone or underneath another rug as a cosy base layer.
Complete the set
Pair with the matching Jams Fleece Hood and Fleece Boots for a cosy fleece outfit. It can also be worn with a Turn Out Hood.

Delivery came when expected, nicely presented in a cute bag. Absolutely love the sheep rug, it’s easy to put on, super warm and very colourful! Can definitely see him in a field.
Won’t buy anything other than snuggly hoods, they wash well and last a long time.
It is warm and cozy fits well. And your shipping service is amazing. You guys are really on top of it. The face hood part with the fleece is a little bit snug gear than the liner. But I was afraid if I got a bigger size, it may be too big all over. So just a note the face mask part in the fleece is a little more form fitting.
I have recently purchased a Jams set and, I haven’t used it yet but I have absolute confidence it will be just good quality like every other item I have. Body rugs, bug rugs and now, I;m sure, jam sets - all perfect fits, wash up like new.
Just saving up for some mud fever boots and I will have, literally,everything ! I would say, you can buy with confidence every time .
