After a stop start to the season with the rainy start, we're getting into a rhythm now with some very pleasing results.

Houghton Hall CIC03*

Derby (Wellshead Oppostion) has been going really well at home and I am hopeful we will be chosen for the Nations Cup team at Houghton International where we head next week for the CIC03*.

This morning we jumped with Corinne Bracken – click on the link to see.

Aston-Le-Walls, May 11

Derby jumped a lovely double clear in the open intermediate and Jake (Highmead Proposition) was super in his first intermediate. I am so pleased with him.

April (Total Belief) also jumped a double clear in her first novice and ended up fifth which was a lovely bonus. She's had three outings now, finishing 4th at Aldon International, winning at Larkhill and now 5th at Aston-Le-Walls.

Withington Manor, April 30

Despite being full of himself Derby (Wellshead Fare Opposition) gained a very competitive dressage mark in the OI and showjumped well to just roll a pole over a big track in the showjumping. Cross country he absolutely flew around and gave me an incredible feeling.

Lola (Cascadelle) did a nice test and has improved since Portman. She seemed much more relaxed and did a really good double clear, but I made the decision to go steadily with her. I want to get some miles on the clock rather than worry too much about the results.

Derby is feeling on top top form! Next run Houghton CICO *** Nations Cup then Luhmuhlen June 16 – 19 Luhmuhlen CCI****
