My horse is enjoying being extra cozy when he’s out in the field as the wind can no longer blow down his neck rugs. I bought the 6ft rug and it fits him perfectly. He normally wears a 6ft 6 rug.
I find myself looking after my sisters sweet old mare who has horrendous sweet itch and habitual scratching when stressed. I bought the base body (annoyingly just before Black Friday!) and I’m so impressed. She’s wearing it out tonight under her turnout rug to keep her cosy and protected from the midges that still seem to be out there having not received the “it’s winter” memo.
She’s toasty warm with the extra layer and the fit is amazing. The Velcro is such good quality, the material is brilliant and I’m just generally wowed by the overall thought that’s gone in to designing and making this rug. I’m already stalking the sale to see what other things she needs!
I was concerned about the fit for my large bodied cob. However the design makes adjustments for all builds easy. Quality item. Not to hard to put on the horse. Provided with fabric for repairs.
