Snuggy Jams stop the winter coat from growing and ruining the summer sheen we work so hard all summer to achieve!
The Snuggy Jams Hood is made from the softest, cosy polar fleece and covers face, ears, neck and chest. It will help to stop a Winter coat come through so quickly, keep a clipped coat for longer and add shine/help the coat lie flat.
The Jams Hood is lined through the mane and shoulder area with a no-seam silky fabric to prevent rubbing, the nose band is adjustable for a good fit. There is the option of a zip for ease of fitting which runs from chin to chest. Without the zip the Hood is ‘pull on’ so simply slipped over the nose and pulled back into position.
ZIP OR PULL ON ? - we would always recommend a pull on hood unless the horse is head shy. Why? Less fiddly, Less to break, Less Bulky. If your horse is head shy or would find fitting stressful or upsetting, we would always recommend a zipped hood.
Ears are included as standard but can be easily cut off if not required.
Being self fixing the Hood can be worn with any other rug or with the Snuggy Jams Fleece Rug for the perfect winter warmth combination. The Jams Fleece Hood is also really useful for protecting plaits overnight or whilst at a show/event and will also encourage an unruly mane to lie flat!
Top Tip: Use with the matching Jams Fleece Rug and Fleece Boots to create a cosy Onesie for your horse or pony.

This hood is making my thoroughbred gelding very happy and content. Very glad I bought it.
Very prompt service. Perhaps put tabs on the Velcro for those of us with arthritic hands. Very well made
Great hood would buy for another horse if they had her size!
