Lycra Body Rug

The Snuggy Lycra Body Rug is made of the finest nylon shiny spandex which is comfortable and breathable. This stretch lycra Rug covers chest, shoulders, body and full belly with an XL tail flap.

The Lycra Body Rug is designed to be used for show/event preparation to achieve ultimate coat shine, keep dust/forage/bedding off of the coat and also to lay the hair flat. It is suitable for use at a show, in the stable, lorry or trailer. The Lycra Body Rug can be used alone or under another rug.

The Snuggy Lycra Body Rug is designed to be worn with our Lycra Hood to offer complete nose to tail coverage for the show season, keeping coat super shiny and dust free.

This Body Rug is best teamed with the Snuggy Lycra Hood but can also be used alone or with any other self fixing hood. The Snuggy Lycra Body Rug and Lycra Hood combination will help you achieve show ring shine like the professionals! We strongly believe a two piece (Hood and Rug) combination is more comfortable for the horse or pony to wear as in our experience all-in-one Lycra suits can ride backwards creating pressure and pulling up into the eyes/face. A Hood and Rug combo offers more flexibility for usage (each items can be used individually) and it is also possible to achieve a better fit as the Hoods and Rugs are sized separately.

Please note that this product is not water repellent and will not prevent staining from either wet bedding or droppings. If you are looking for stain protection, please look at the water repellent anti itch or turn out range of products.

PLEASE NOTE - The Lycra Body Rug sizing is generous due to the stretchy fabric so please choose a smaller size rather than bigger if your horse/pony falls between sizes. Please contact us for sizing advice before purchasing if you are unsure. This product should be a tight fit !
