My third rug from you. I love the fabric and when you get the right size I fits perfect. Dry fast and the horse seems comfortable in every weather. The best part of it is the udder sheet, the best on the market! The only udder protection I’ve tried out that actually works!
The only downside is to get the right size. My horse wears EU size (back seam) 125. First I ordered size 5.9 and that’s too big. Then I ordered size 5.0, and thought that had a good fit. Ordered another one this spring in size 5.0 and realized that it’s too small.
Maybe the horse have grown under the vinter. Now I saving money to get another in size 5.6, hope that will fit perfectly!
So measure well and ask the snuggy crew for help if you not sure, I didn’t…😅
I have got the whole set in brown for my narrow TB. He also has sheath covers and these are working really well. The insects are just coming out and today in the sun I watched them buzzing around his tummy and sheath and not getting in to bite.
My TB is a tall fine built boy with a narrow build. I downsized from his turnout size of 6.9 rugs to 6.3 and it fits him perfectly. He had sarcoids treated over winter on his belly and groin so I want to keep him away from biting insects. The whole set is great quality and the most innovative wear I can find to protect him.
Sweetitch rug purchased for a shetland, absolutely fantastic fit (I spoke with customer services who were super helpful), really good coverage and love the tail protection. He seems very happy and comfortable in the rug. Very easy to put on and take off and has washed well. I would definitely recommend!
I am in Australia where the temperature is often very hot and the itch with horses can be a real problem. I had to stop rugging my mare due to her expecting a foal and needed to keep dangerous rug straps away from the foal.
