The sizes are wrong!

I ordered 2 rugs (one in 4,9” and one in 5,0”) for my horses (1,45m and 1,47m) but both rugs are 2 sizes too small, to short and not fitting anyway even they are stretching a lot. The tail part is sitting at the back of both!

Hello Alexa

I am sorry to hear that you have purchased the incorrect size. We would always recommend you contact us directly for assistance with sizing.

The sizes you have purchased are for smaller ponies - as clearly stated on the sizing guide here - https://snuggyhoods.com/de/pages/size-guide - I am sorry if you missed this. I have copied the link to the German translation here. The sizes are shown in feet and inches, inches, centimeters and also converted to EU sizing. I am sorry that you missed this information when you ordered. If you measure these blankets, you will find that they measure the length stated on the labels. There is also a very helpful measuring guide to ensure that you order the correct size for your horse. I am sorry if you missed this information when you were ordering.

Are you happy with the other 3 x hoods you have ordered? Again, if there is any issue with these, I would recommend that you get in touch via email at sales@snuggyhoods.com.

Full return advice can be found on our website, should you wish to return these blankets. Please read this carefully so that there is no issue with any returns.

I am sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this has caused.

Wishing you all the best

Sarah

Amazing product! Does what it needed it! Fit could be slightly better

I bought this snuggy under rug as my 16.1hh TB had a nasty open injury to his tummy. I needed a rug that had tummy protection to help keep the wound clean under his other rugs or to give him some warmth without his rugs on. This was perfect.
I ordered a 6.6 as generally, 6.3 rugs are too tight and 6.6 are a bit baggy but we prefer that. He’s a semi retired TB so not ‘thick’ with muscle but also not super fine as steeple chase type.
The 6.6 is a bit baggy on his bum and tummy (the tummy being a bit baggy was fine and intended and worked perfectly for purpose as covered and protected his tummy without providing pressure or irritation to the wound). However I have found that the chest is a little snug. Also the rug has to go on over the head which could be difficult for head shy horses. A zip at the chest could work more effectively. It’s fine for occasional wear but would be aware if using daily it may rub on the shoulders.
It just seems to slide from the front to the back, making the front right and the back loose. It may be because he has a high withered. But a larger size would be too baggy in areas if it then fit his chest better.
We’re very happy with our purchase but would give it 4/5 stars and I’m glad I got it on sale instead of full price.
Very useful if wanting to keep clean the day before a show I imagine too.
But I have to admit the full tummy coverage is excellent and the only product I could find in the market with this. The material is also soft and came beautifully packaged with spares. It’s a lovely touch.

Say goodbye to skin irritation

So delighted with snuggly hoods winter turnout underrug, my ageing pony suffered with a lot of skin irritation during the winter days, after trying all sorts of different creams and sprays I tried a snuggy hoods turnout underrug I will never look back! No more itchy sore skin he has come through this horrible wet winter without any itching or soreness. Thank you snuggy hoods.

Under rug

I love all the snuggy hood products and have quite a collection but the latest addition to my collection is the under rug to keep our big grey’s belly clean while he plays in the field. It’s done a great job and not interfered with his playtime so win win!
